Here's the point:Mike must correctly pick vinyl over digital in a blind test. If he can do this, then I will be convinced that he can hear a difference. If he can't do this, then I won't be convinced of anything I don't already know.
Furthermore, if no one in attendance can correctly pick vinyl over digital in a blind test, then it pretty much substantiates my claim that digital can copy vinyl transparently.

three to one that he can hear the difference, if for no other reason that it is hard to eliminate the initial cue and arm letdown, unless those are preserved perfectly on the CD. Be sure you don't let him cheat, he is a car dealer. If he is wearing white shoes, you are in trouble.
