Hi.I play mono music pretty often from my hundreds of cassette tapes tapped off AM broadcasts.
My speakers vanish as soon as the music commences & stereo or monoral regardless, sorry - withOUT any acoustical panels.
With the AM broadcast tapped mono music, I can 'see' the soundstage reasonally wide & deep (cannot touch stereo music, of course).
If your equipment is properly done, it can sound "great" without
first-aid banding.

Maybe your room is of the ideal proportions for listening. Most rooms are'nt, and no amount of room treatment can provide us with 100% compensation for such a deficiency. That said, even though a properly proportioned room will not need as much in the way of acoustic treatments, any room can benefit from some amount of treatment - especially for the bass frequencies.
Hi.My basement audio den a a oblong shaped area with merely 7ft ceiling clearance.
The interior layout only permitted me to place my audio/video gears & my listening area at one end of the area along the shorter side of the room.
Guess what did I do to deliver good sound without sound panels & the like elaborated & costly acoustical gadgets.
What DID you do to your system in order to deliver good sound without regard for acoustical treatments ..?

I would hardly call proper room treatment "first-aid banding". If by that you actually meant "band-aid", I understand, but it still doesn't apply. Sure, you can't polish a turd. But if you have a good system in a room with reasonably good dimensions and volume, properly treating it will only make everything better.Oz

Enough said?

Hi.In my country, we have two official languages. One is French.
On dit franchaise. Decor ?
You can't use your so called mother tongue (??) English literately, let alone other languages, pal.
'On dit franchaise. Decor ?'you can't spell in French either
I did a search on his posts and I see what you mean. I also discovered that either English is a second language for him, or he is lazy.
and your point is?Now as far as his cohesiveness...I have a few issues when one states that taped AM broadcast can make speakers vanish...but on second thought, i would throw them out too if i had nothing else to listen to.

;-D
My point is this. When you see typing like that, it is usually one or the other. I left out the third possiblity while trying to be nice and give the poster the benefit of the doubt.
Hi.Indeed "nice" of you to admit English is your second language though your use of the language is more literate & acceptable than that bad mouth.
