Any closer recommendations?
Well, Manhattan is closer, but he asked for New Jersey. Besides, it shouldn't take him that long to get to Princeton and it would be nice trip for a lovely Fall afternoon.
I'm in the PREX every Saturday morning. Lots of stock and reliable grading. Also worth a look is Vintage Vinyl in Edison (or is it Fords?) NJ. Right off exit 130 on the Parkway.
princeton is by far the best shop around but this link shows most shops & gives reviews.
I dont know why that didn't work the first time, but here you go.
Mike - you are in luck. NJ is the home of the largest album store in the country - the Princton Record Exchange in Princton, NJ. They have about 100,000 titles in stock of any/all types of music. Their prices are fair, the condition the lp is in is clearly marked, and I have never had a problem with anything that they didn't take care of immediately. I have also never left the store without dropping at least $80.00! Have FUN!
I have yet to walk out of there without two shopping bags' full. BTW, they have great bags for LPs - wooden reinforced handles, cardboard bottoms.
Haven't been in a while, though. Had to cut down.
Jeff
My one and only visit to Princton Record Exchange only lasted about an hour due to business constraints. I could have spent a whole day there.
been there three times myself, great place although last time was a little dissapointing.
Happy hunting!
