He also excepts checks but he is located in Canada so my question is if he tries to rip me off it's a big time offense correct? He seems like a really good guy with excellent feedback but you just never know these days. I thought I'd check here as to using a Postal money order? The International ones can't remember what color they are I think there green.
Thanks.

I just sent a Postal Money order to Canada and it was pinkish. Good luck in your transaction.
.
Counterquestion: Where are you in Canada?I am most of the time in Calgary; part time in Toronto/Waterloo area....
Anyway, if the person has much feedback I would not worry to much. you can always ask for a phone number and address to try to call him up. Most of the time Canadian are pretty nice. Maybe too nice :)
Good luck with the transaction.

Agree 100%, most Canadains are nice people. However; there could be one bad apple that can screw everything for all of us.
If you mail him a International Postal Money Order (I think the Canadian ones are pink) and he scams you, that amounts to Postal Fraud. Just what happens after that, I don't know.
i think the only protection an international money order will offer is proof of cashing - which i suppose you also get with a personal check.of course, i may be missing something. i was ripped off via ebay by a guy in canada who only accepted MO's. my most successful recourse was a refund from ebay.
