Please read my review of the Pete Riggle VTF here in the asylum under tonearms. Then listen to a system with VTA on the fly and tell me a half inch up or down does not help the sound.....

Our countries current leadership makes Bill Clinton look like a saint when it comes to telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth!

I think his fiscal policy was light years above anyone but Ronald Reagan and John F Kennedy.....(who Reagan copied because they were both Democrats back in the early 60's).But to look at Clinton is to see someone who perfected the process of lieing, lieing repeatedly and lieing until people believed the lie. The DNC is still mired in this philosophy.
I would take Bill Clintons financial policy any day of the week to the one we have now. Actually Al, do you think there is any policy today.....I cannot seem to find one!
Maybe vinyl can restore the earth. It sure sounds good to my ears and I could care less about politics. Bill was entertaining, well spoken, and made sure he retired a millionaire.
Clinton lied about a blow job. So what? Surely you can come up with better examples of liars when you want to make your point about propaganda. Better yet, Tubes, get the definition straight. Propaganda isn't lying, it's "a specific type of message presentation directly aimed at influencing the opinions or behavior of people, rather than impartially providing information." (from Wikipedia) Clinton wasn't using propaganda to promote getting blow jobs at the work place so using him as an example of your theory about Rega's marketing strategy doesn't work very well anyway.
I am a user of the Riggle VTAF and can vouch that changes to the height of the Rega RB 300 arm pillar does affect the sound - and there is a setting that will produce a "right" sound.Perhaps Rega is just doing a bit of countering to address criticisms that its arm don't have a convenient means to adjust the arm pillar height (VTA or SRA?).
I can say that lots of people like to buy plug and play, but it sure makes sense to be able to tune and perfect.I guess the tune and perfect customers should buy elsewhere.
