Thank You ! Do you happen to have the corresponding data, as to what
amount of wt. corresponds to a given VTF ?I bought the Hadcock used without documentation etc. and can't remember how I set the bias when I set it up last time.
Follow Ups:
In case it is unclear, the bias weight thread attaches to a radial arm. The attachment distance and number of weights determines the bias.
From the instructions measuring from pivot centre:VTF ------ Thread attachment distance
1.0 ------ 15.2mm -- 1 weight
1.5 ------ 27.9mm -- 1 weight
2.0 ------ 22.8mm -- 2 weights
2.5 ------ 26.6mm -- 2 weights
3.0 ------ 30.5mm -- 2 weights
Zio- The information is greatly appreciated !The numbers will ease my set up hassles a great deal.
I do remember last time I set it up, I winged it and it was a seriously frustratibg as my bias adjustment tweaking threw off my azimuth settings very easily, the Hadcock is the only uni-pivot I own,
once it was set up it was as solid and easy to live with as my
various SME 3009's which surprized me because it looks so delicate I assumed it would be real touchy.
