I have one of their 2-record gold hits thingies with two Gerry Rafferty songs mixed in, and the records sound pretty good! I have a couple other cheapo compilations that don't sound so good though, don't remember the labels.

Dear Mr. H. and I.,Do you believe music can exist outside of the vinyl medium?
Do you see that "What's spinning?" posts occur on the 'Vinyl Board'?
If you have answered a safe "Yes" to both questions, then your original question has been answered.
As to your serious straight-faced nature, well, maybe you should spin a humorous LP and see if it can disappear. No, not you; no, not the LP; just the straight face.
