Perhaps all the others won't admit it in public.I don't know what it is, but some sort of actual fear comes over me when I have to mount a cartridge in an arm, or adjust the height of the tone arm base, etc. I don't normally have problems doing intricate work with my hands and fingers. I can play complex fingerstyly jazz chord melody music on my guitars, and do other stuff, without breaking out in a cold sweat. But put an expensive cartridge in my hands and have me mount it in an arm, and *perhaps*, several hours later I might have it installed without breaking anything.
I think it might be wise for me to simply get a decent, linear arm, automatic turntable with the p-mount and be done with all of this.

Guilty as charged I believe if there was a Klutz event category in the Olympics ,I might not get the gold medal, but I would be on the platform somewhere ;-)
I'd be falling off the back of the platform at the exact moment that photos were taken.
I'm thinking our common Klutziness iss the genetic endowment of our
Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Grandfather Ragnar The Horrific Johnston who was widely known as a ferocious but noted Klutzi Berserker who often killed opponents who were rendered helpless while hopping around swearing after Ragnar had inadvertantly dropped his battle axe on their toes.
