...I guess they found a niche. Keep in mind it was during that 80's period of truly 'great' music that the Shaggs were rediscovered and the insanity about them really began........but then it's probably good music to torture people with :-)

In an innocent, honest way and as a "very" alternative sound for that time there is something there. Once more though perhaps in an accidental and deliberately irrational way.One time when I was getting familiar with Phair's Exile in Guyville I did think for a moment that here's a reincarnated 90's brutally and sexually honest Shaggs album :-)
