First one I've found in a long time. Do you see these crates from time to time? It just gave me a reason to buy more vinyl.
Follow Ups:
Sorry, but you should know before treking out for these. They are large and hold too many records in my opinion and might subject your lp's to warping. Also, the sides being very rough are hell on record cover spines. ..not a good scene if you want to be a good custodian for the vinyl. I have one from way back and it drives me crazy. It will go as soon as I get some new record boxes. There are better alternatives.
I used to get wood crates back in the 70s from my local supermarket that they would just throw out after they unloaded the fruit that was shipped in them. 12 inch albums fit perfectly..........I still have about 5 of them that I coated them with polyurathene varnish and they still look quite good. I could kick myself for not getting more.Anything that used to be made of wood is now plastic, but since plastic is made from oil, I could see a return to wood in my lifetime with oil becoming more scarce in the future. Oh no, is vinyl made from oil?......scary thought.
asking about wooden crates and got laughed at.
A long-gone chain of local record stores used to sell them as kits.

I bought 12 of them about two years ago. If you want some, you might check the archives.
