I picked it up a couple of years ago at Dick Smith electronics of all places! 22 bucks. It is great, a lot of the current dj/producers doing some nice remixes of some of her classics.
sort of similar to what verve are doing now on their also way cool remixed albums.

don't understand your comment. Are you saying she appears (or this LP is featured) in a Mr Bean film?Regards,
She's Mr. Bean's very own pet singer and favorite pin-up! Featured (autographed pictures on the wall, etc.) in a few of the series' episodes, as well as in a hilarious book entitled "Mr. Bean's Diary" (BoxHill, London, UK)
I don't know if that's where you are, but I understand the series never really took off in the States. It was pretty big here in Canada - even still runs occasionally - so the humorous reference for me was a little (too?) obvious! ;O)
Simply the most hillariously funny thing to come out of GB since Fawlty Towers,IMHO. An over simplification, but think of a British version of PeeWee Herman that almost never speaks. And even if you hate PeeWee, you might still love Bean.
Forget the Mr. Bean movie, it did not do the charactor justice at all. I only smiled a few times during the movie, while I still laugh out loud re-watching the TV episodes.
From those episodes, the "Hospital Emergency Room" and "Park Bench Lunch" are absolutely priceless!
next time I see a Mr Bean re-run, I'll watch his walls with interest!I'm in Oz so it was/is shown here.
So you're in Canada ... I've actually just returned from 2 weeks in Edmonton! Great country.
Regards,
found mine on Gemm, I especially like the bassy (pun intended) intro. on "Easy Thing to Do" and the wild mix on "Big Spender"If you like this you might also like "Panthalassa, the Remixes" which is Bill Laswell's take on Miles Davis "In a Silent Way", etc.
This was released on vinyl in Japan
Hi Grins,Thanks ... I'll see if I can get hold of it.
I lurve the Bill Laswell double-LP "remix" of Bob Marley ... do ya know it?
Regards,
while I saw Bob Marley in concert back in the day and thought he was great, I am still kind of "Bob Marleyed Out" from spending the 1980's where radio stations, neighbours, bar bands, roommates, elevators and even supermarket PA's played Bob Marley ad nauseum for what seemed the entire Decade
No reflection on his talent, just long, long since hit critical mass for tolerance
One more spin of "Kaya" "Lion of Zion" or "No Woman No Cry" in any form, remixed or no, and I will spontaneously combust (and knowing my luck, my ashes will end up in E'tiopia, mon)
remember back to the days when you saw Father Bob live ... when you were young ... when, after meeting a new girlfriend you'd have mind-blowing sex all weekend and stagger into work Monday morning feeling limp ... and then the foxy new receptionist would walk past and your old fella would immediately perk up again!! :-))You just *think* you're Marleyed out! C'mon, mon ... go to Amazon, select "Music" and search for "Dreams of Freedom" under "Title". Bill Laswell's CD will come up and you can listen to the first 30 secs of a few tracks ... I guarantee you'll be hooked if you like the Shirley Bassey! Then you can go search for the LP (Axiom/Island 314-524-419-1).
