I know some things changed on XA's, like the color and texture of the plinth, the box construction, etc... So, is there anyone who knows a vague range of when these features were in production, thereby dating the table? Or is there some code in the serial number? Just curious. Often too curious.

I think mine had an actual date stamped inside the plinth or on the bottom panel. Mine was made in 1969. I can't check right now since it's 6am and the TT is in the bedroom (GF still sleeping)
