Get a copy of McGuinn's Back from Rio and you can listen to both McGuinn and Petty go at it with Rickenbacker's on the song King of the Hill.
Follow Ups:
Back From Rio is one of those Lost Classics.

Hey great record! Roger's real name is Jim. Imagine changing your name from Jim to Roger- can't figure?Where did you get your Back From Rio copy on vinyl? I just checked E-Bay, Music Direct and Red Trumpet? I've had the cd since it first came out. Also saw Roger at the Ark (folk club) in Ann Arbor a couple of years ago. One of my favorite live performances to date.
Got it at Jerry's Records in Pittsburgh. Browsing the stacks and there it was.
It's rare on vinyl--Hell, it's not all that easy to find on CD anymore, out of print and you have to get it used.
Jerry says that the mid-1980's to early 1990's stuff is very tough to find and you just have to get lucky.
