Local used emporium has a nice stack of Don Shirley stuff, a lot of it on Cadence.
Any recommendations?

Follow Ups:
I had the pleasure of hearing Don Shirley and his trio in Northern Maine (Presque Isle) back in the early '60's. I was in the Air Force, flying B-52's at nearby Loring AFB (Limestone, ME). Shirley was there at a "Community Concert," which also brought in Claudio Arrau. Shirley was terrific, and I bought several of his albums. Your post has encouraged me to go back and listen to them. Thanks for the memories.
Shirley? Grab everything you can get your mitts on! He style is the antithesis of bombast but he is one of the true innovators on the piano. His trio recordings that mate his songful piano playing with the sonorities of cello and bass strings are the "creme de la creme", IMO. I own these records not mentioned so far, and I recommend that you look for them too: 'Don Shirley plays Shirley', Cadence CLP 3037. 'The Gospel Acoording to Don Shirley', Columbia CS 9723. 'The Don Shirley Point Of View', Atlantic SD 1605. I wish that I had as many Shirley LPs as Muzikmike. I am not that lucky, but luckily, I am not too picky about format. In addition to my LP finds, I have some of those bargain Shirley CD sets available on the Collectibles label. Get to know Shirley, he's like a sleeping giant.
Few pianists of any genre could do what Shirley does with his left hand...he's still alive and teaching as far as I know, I believe in Indiana.Casual listening seems to reveal him as "easy-listening Jazz" until you listen to that left hand technique! There are bass lines that he plays that are more complex than much of anything else you have ever heard! I have a lot of his stuff...get it all and if you don't like it, I'll buy it from you!!!
The early stuff on Cadence is on some very fragile vinyl...I was sliding an LP into an inner sleeve and holding it on one side and the LP cracked!!! Wahhh! Needless to say, I'd like to replace it (I can't recall the title right now, I have to check the stacks against my spread sheet).

Believe I saw that AudioFidelity LP at Jerry's. He had about dozen or so other titles, many on cadence. Nice layer of dust on 'em, and he's closed today and tahmawrrah, so they should be waiting for me on Wednesday night.
Get the title of that broken one a yerz, I'll see if he has it and grab it up.
Didja ever get that PC cleared up?
