Great to see a vinyl based forum!
I am terribly new to the experience having been confined to CD for many years...
My life changed recently when I picked up a second hand Michell Gyrodec and dug out the old record collection. The table is fitted with an SME 3010 R tonearm, similar I believe to the 3009 series. Unfortunately I have found no useful source of information wrt SME or their equipment on the 'net. Without Owners manual or other directions I am a little in the dark as to set up or service requirements etc.
Can anyone direct me to a suitable source?

SME has no presence on the web whatsoever. you could
take your question to the Analogue Addicts mailing
list, where one of the superb guys may help you further
in one way or another.
