Help! I have several McIntosh transformers and I have no idea what models they are supposed to be for. I have contacted Mac and they told me that they couldn't help me (!?)At any rate I have the following:
P/N 159-050, a square potted output transformer. Looks to be an older model amp.
P/N 043-605, a power transformer with 170, 58.5 and 6 VAC secondaries in a square potted enclosure
P/N 043-606, (the last digit is hard to read and may be incorrect) Square potted output transformer with just 5 leads, perhaps a 2505?
If any one can help me, I would certainly appreciate an ID.

The 043-065 is the power trans for the mc2505.They had a couple of them but the 043-065 was a used later but will work in all of them. The 043-066 is as you guessed.. the output autoformer for the mc2505.
The the 159-050 I have to research a bit...The other two tho are definitely the 2505.
I don't often work on the Mac gear, and these I picked up from a Mac repair center that was closing many uears ago!
Really appreciate it and I owe you one.... or more
Hi Stu:The folks at Audio Classics seem to know a lot about older Mac gear, see if they can help.
