It's EXTREMELY DISTORTED music.
Follow Ups:
Are you yelling at me, or is that an attempt to describe the distortion. I only asked the question in an attempt to elicit more information that might help someone to suggest probable causes for your problem.
I am not yelling at anyone. I simply italicized my words to make clear the type de distorsion I am referring to. I don't understand your susceptibility.
OK. Distortion is a rather generic term. When you simply repeated your words in capital letters (not italics), I was not sure of your intention. This is known as SHOUTING on the web. If you were attempting to describe the distortion as loud, you could have said it was a loud distortion. Nothing to do with susceptibility. Is the distortion coming from both channels?
Yes, the distorsion is coming from both channels.
This is similar to the problem I had with my Arcam CD73. It would sound distorted. Switching off the player then switching it back on did provide a temporary solution. However after sometime it stopped reading discs while playing midway. Get it looked at by your vendor It my case it was fixed after a faulty wire was replaced.
Thanks for your reply.
I am not sure but I think it was the cable that sends the signal from the drive to the DAC. Sorry I really can't remember much more.
