Do you have any special reception conditions? For eample; do you have a favorite station that is one or two spaces away (200khz or 400khz) or do you need sensiitivy to pull in weak stations? What are the critical dimensions/colors?As far as value goes, you can get quite a few different great tuners for less than you are considering; Sansui tu-717, Pioneer tx-9500 or 9500 II are just a couple. You can get modded versions of these for your price range and probably greatly outperform what you are considering.
