I like the original production Svet winged C that's been cryo'd by Watford Valves.Best,
Follow Ups:
I tried the Svetlanas (cryo'd) in my preamp and, although they have decent dynamics and clarity, there was no warmth or finesse. I also tried a matched-pair of East German Telefunken El34 (got scammed on these), and they sounded a lot better than the Svetlanas, but not nearly as good as the KT66s. In fact, neither the Teles nor the Svetlanas sounded as good as the much cheaper 6Y6. YMMV, or course.
Neither the 6Y6 nor the KT66 are EL34 types.
I know, but my preamp (and some others) allow the use of any of these tubes in the output buffer.

Oops! I just noticed (hard to miss, actually) that current production is the topic.
I am using Osram 'Grey Glass' KT66s.
