Recently scored some on e-bay, were said to be made in the USA, but are stamped canada. Anyone ever heard of these?

Forgot to mention, they are 12x4 rectifier. I did search this and I do understand that pro comm is a "relabeler" of tubes, usually of european extraction, but these tubes have dark original looking wrirring that says 12x4 with canada above it. Then it has white lettering added on that says pro comm. Anyone have a guess as to who (in canada) may have made these.

Two manufacturers in Canada (or US affiliates) came to my mind: GE and Westinghouse. They both manufactured various tubes in their factories located in Canada. If yours has black plates, it's likely be a Westinghouse. Enjoy! M. N.
Thanks for the info, they indeed do have black plates inside.
Thanks again, Russellc
