Hello, allI bought ECC82 tubes from Mr.Ohashi (owner of SUN-VALLEY, famous tube amp shop in JAPAN).
He said these ECC82s are genuine NOS Mullard made.
But no "B" code on the grass.(See pictures)
These ECC82s are genuine Mullard factory made or not?TARO

..relabeled Mullard. We have many with the original BEL label that look identical to the ones in your pictures. Some have similar fuzzy date 2 digit date codes and others have 2 line date codes.
Priting does look more recent with regular paint. Unfortunately, there are some sources in Asia that are peddling these fake relabel jobs. We've seen both ECC83 and ECC82 examples of these.BEL are real fine tubes, but should NOT be sold as a Mullard, at Mullard prices.
fwiw BEL tubes were made in a factory set up by Mullard I believe. They are good tubes but should not be called Mullards of course.
...aha ! You're probably correct .
Hello ,
These are made on Mullard tooling but no idea where the tubes were made . The inking looks suspiciously like rebranding . I doubt these are of UK manufacture , the double sutured tops give the game away
