I just made my 1st posting in the PC forum and see that my ID is not bold nor underlined meaning (I think) that people can't send me emails.Yet the only "account management" place I see is for the Audio Asylum. I checked all my account info for the AA and when I do post there, my name is bold and underlined allowing people to email me.
I'll keep searching - but if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it since I'd like to be able to get email from postings I might make in the PC forum. Thanks.

Follow Ups:
The PC Forum along with several others are maintained under a different domain, myAsylum. For that reason, your login cookie can't be read, so you have to supply a password and click on Remember once to set one there. The same is true for the Film and Video Asylums. However, the system still knows that you are registered and does link to your profile as well as putting your name in grey to denote a registered user that isn't verified with a password. Clicking on that A link still gets to our emailer, so no worries.
BTW: I noticed that your message is changing all the fonts on the balance of the page. It looks like you need to close the font call with a [/font], with this < bracket of course.
Hi - I typed in my original posting as I always do and sorry I don't understand what you're saying about the fonts. When I look at my screen all the fonts are the same - ie, the fonts after my posting are the same as the people who posted after I did.I'd be glad to do anything you want, but need a lot more detailed instruction. The only thing I know (I think) is what you suggested has to do with HTML and I'm not really familiar with that.
So if you can tell me more in layman's terms, I'd be glad to try and do what you asked. Thanks.

Ah, sorry. It's the Signature line in your user profile. If you login or just click on the Profile link in the message dialogue, then go to Manage/Change. Zip down to the Signature line and add at the end of the line after your CD50Mk2.
Sorry - but I tried many things using the <> and /font but couldn't seem to find the right combo. I did manage to make the font bold, but it only shows that way when I do a preview of my changes. When I go to a posting it's not bold and then I realized the server might update only once even 15 minutes or something so I won't be able to tell immediately if my changes worked.I looked at the FAQ for HTML and am now going to a couple of other places to see if I can find examples. I'd really like to fix it myself and did notice that the font was changing but didn't know what you meant at first. I thought you meant the whole forum page was changing when actually it's when you try to reply to a posting I made. I thought the font change was something cool you had done some time ago and never thought it was the result of an error on my part. I never make mistakes. Thanks!

It looks fine now, whatever you did, it fixed it.
I played around with HTML until it got corrected. Funny as I said before, when I first saw the different text some months ago, thought it was very nice for a change and thought it was something you or one of the "AA site policemen repair people" did it.Happy New Year too!
