Do they work well on the wall or a shelf attachted to a wall? I will be using the rt35 for front mains.
Follow Ups:
I wouldnt suggest it, they would be boomy too near a back wall.
I owned them, they sounded best on 24' stands out 2 feet from back wall, any closer the image collapsed and boom and woofiness set in on male voices, not good for understanding dialogue, EH?
Get speaker designed for boundary re inforcement if you are going right up against wall!
Have to ask someone else what one.
Dont like speakers up against wall, screws up image yuk
Why have wall mount brackets on the back of the speaker? I even saw the instruction manual that states that because of the powerport in the rear of the speakers it is ok to place them up against a back wall.
Its " ok ' to spit on a sidewalk, dont mean its healthy!
they will sound like shit up against a wall, except for surround use as rear channels.
marketing knows there are guys like you want to hang em on walls !
