I am alos using the ARC LS5 tube amp, so will these Cardas cable give it too warmth a sound? how about geortz or other flat cable wiht silver cating, to spped up the sound, and not to give too warm a cound? I like listening to vocal music. Currently I am using the XLO type 5 cable.

Hi, Richard, Goertz is nice, but it's bass is not as good as Kimber 8TC or the Cardas, all of which I tried. But I had Proac Response 3s ...I've heard about good results with the Nordost Valhalla on almost any speaker they were used on ...
To be honest, I just don't know. Is there a way for you to try out before you buy ? Personally I like Nordost SPM speaker cable and to some extent, the blue heaven significantly lower cost - Goertz I have nevere tried - but have never tried these types of cables with ARC / ProAc.My gut feel is that Cardas Golden Ref might be too warm and wooly sounding in you system but this is just a guess.

The SPM is too costly. How about the Cardas Golden Cross? Actually
I am in a fix, not sure to go to silver, or flat or just pure copper wire. Basically the Amp is warm(tube) speakers(sometimes quite forward,,but nice)...and how to improve...it is always that search for a better sound..
