Unlike ebay, I am not able to determine the winning bid on ubid. Is it on the page somewhere?

so I ended up paying $29/ea + $27 shipping, which is still a pretty good price for these.
of 22 they just put up. you've got another day, currently one pair is at 29, and one bidder has all the rest at 19
Ubid seems to extend auctions beyond the cutoff time at their convenience, and there seems to be some debate over who actually has won an auction if and when they do end. They seem unable to determine if they actually have the merchandise they are auctioning, even with a bevy of warehouse tracking computers. And they seem to have little problem sending buyers something quite different from what they bid on. I love ebay and how it operates but I confess I havent figured out the ubid culture even with what appears sometimes appears to be give away prices.
The bidding rules are clearly stated, and discussed here before. They don't extent the auction time for their convenience. They simple end the auction after a certain amount of time that no bid has been placed after the 'auction' end. With uBid, you can't get 'out-bid at the last minute'I think I prefer the uBid method then the frenzy accompanying e-bay auction end. the Shipping and other issues not-withstanding
