B200 SP1022 with a big square magnet are out of a pair of production KEF Cadenzas. The dust cap and magnet on the SP1039 will be smaller and probably be out of a pair of KEF Corellis - I will know for certain next week as I am taking a pair apart also a pair of KEF 104's which look as if somebody has been up to no good - the dust caps are diferent sizes. If you see SP1063 with a small alnico magnet (not ceramic) will be out of of a pair of IMF TLS50's. If you want to use any production or OEM KEF speakers for home brew designs remember that as KEF had control over all aspects of magnet size and type, voice coil diameter and number of voice coil turns you will have to know exactly out of which design they came and work out the small Thiel parameters yourself, as those for the kit B200 SP1014 can only be taken as a first approximation.
Follow Ups:
The SP1039 was used in the 104ab as well. What i am trying to find out is if their is a large difference in their sound.
No change in sound only better sound because the drivers will be computer matched so dont blow one!
KEF Corelli speakers use the SP 1063 version of the B200 like the later IMF TLS 50 mk 2's if anyone is interested.
