ACI has a pair of brand new Jaguars listed on the charity auction. This might be a great way to save some bucks AND help out the cause. I'm only posting this because it is for charity. Hope this is okay.

This is wonderful. Not just the Jags, but the other individuals and companies that are contributing. I have a lot of respect for those who';ve already come forward and are giving. They don't have to, they just are! I wish I was in a position to bid on those Jags, at the moment I just can't. I'd love them and would gladly pay for them, (I've been thinking of them or the Sapphire IIIs for sometime). Maybe this week will be better for me and I can find a way to put together the funds. Regardless, thanks to those who are making this positive thing happen!
I, too, would love to have some of the mega-gear being auctioned.
BAT's VK-50 tube preamp (MSRP $7500) would really mate well sonically/ aesthetically with the BAT amp I already have, but it's out of my league. But there's other stuff there that's very reasonable. If nothing else, bid on a John Marks CD or some of the cheaper $30 interconnects.

Right on! Let's show them we're not the stuffed shirt cheapskates that they think we are. Audiophiles united!
And that's not all: Quite a few manufacturers are showing us what they're made of. A also found brand new products donated by: Kora, Montana, Plinius, Muse, Outlaw, Perpetual Tech, Cary, BAT, Bottlehead, MSB and Thor. I'm sure I missed some, but I say hats off to all these manufacturers who are in effect donating thousands of dollars to a very worthy cause. They, and all the individuals who are donating deserve thanks and support from all of us!
