And in general the impact of women will be negative on the natural behavior of men and their hobbies. Although I wish I had met you 27 years ago.

And, I you. Except you realize, we would be totally broke? :-)I understand your point but I believe these type of women still exist...they just need to be taught. Here's my example: I was a natural music lover. My grandparents loved to tell the story of how I would dance, sing at the top of my lungs, and fortunately exhibited dancing rhythm at a young age (19 months). But, never played an instrument yet music has played a tremendous role in my life. My first allowance was spent on purchasing the 45 of "Mrs. Brown, You have a Lovely Daughter" and the LP of "Help" by the Beatles.
Look for a woman who just loves music. Look for one who really likes it when it sounds the best or can be taught when it sounds the best. Those can be taught about gear. Once I learned about gear, I was hooked. I promise you that they exist because I am educating many of those women...hopefully, a few of you guys out there will find them. And, again I will state, they are beautiful and intelligent. They just need to be allowed to state their opinion without being shot down. And all of us audiophiles know how quickly we can cut someone to the bone when we disagree, no?
but there are women who have the same challenges as you. I have to slide equipment into the household under the radar, he doesn't appreciate all of the beautiful music that we have available to us (doesn't really like ANY music), although he did when I met him. Here is my advice: do not marry anyone who does not LOVE music. And now I am done.
...my fellow audiosister.
a lot of sensible thinking goes out the window!
