  Of course, they are similarly shaped overall and I don't much like either example of that truncated pyramid shape. Forced to choose, I slightly prefer the nature wood vineer of the Vandersteen.

  But it's purely a matter of taste so why ask us? Are you trying to appease someone such as, say, a spouse?
