for a good deal on speakers, Crutchfield has the Polk RTi 150's on sale for $1350 A Pair. For the money I think they'd be hard to beat, I picked up a pair a while back for my secondary system and have been really impessed with the sound quality. Regards, HFG

and listened to a pair of RTi70's. I'd looked at them before in Crutchfield, but from the magazine pic I thought they looked kinda cheesy. When I saw them I realized the photos just didn't do them justice......and when I heard them I realized these things might actually live up to their marketing hype! Whoa! We can't have any of that! For $689 a pair, no less.
The big thing that impresses me about the Polk Rti series is the tweeters, very smooth, detailed and silky sounding. The midrange is excellent also with good depth, a wide soundstage and good imaging. If I had one complaint it would be with the bass which seems to have a peak at around 50hz on the RTi150's, but it could be the room they're in. All in all a bargain in my opinion. Rgards, HFG
sure as hell performed beyond my wildest dreams for the price. I am actually considering the RTi70's for my bedroom system.
You might as well just step up to the Lsi15's though, they are only a few hundred more, and sound pretty good.
