Hey there,

I am expecting some Merlins in the next couple of weeks and need to know what size spades DO NOT work. Are there certain sizes that are too small or too big?

What is the most common size spade that is used?

  The Cardas no stress binding posts will work fine with the typical 1/4" (6mm or wider) wide (opening) spade. Anything narrower than that (which is not very common) will cause problems.

    Still shopping around. Trying for Cardas Golden Reference or Audience AU24, depending on my budget and local availability via Audiogon (when it is used gear, I prefer to buy in person).

    Worse comes to worse, I have some Tara Labs Prime (biwired) that will make do until I get my cable act together.
