Hello,

I'm thinking about making a purchase on E-bay:

The seller ships from France and I'm in Israel.
I've never spent so much on an ebay purchase and afraid to be facing scams etc. (although all seems OK to me).

Any hints? What should I check? Any experience with this specific Seller?

  If you pay, and the buyer doesn't come through, you have a State-sanctioned solution. In the 1960s, Israel paid France for a bunch of gunboats or other small offensive craft (I don't remember for sure what kind). Politics changed and France refused to deliver the already paid-for items. So Israel sent a team in and "stole" them. Embarrassed the hell out of France. You could do the same.

    We did not steal a thing. We were only protecting our investment in the French military industry. I guess that's the way disputes were settled those days...
