Hello,
I am looking for a good turntable to play my 78 rpm records and everyone tells me to go with the turntable listed above. Any help would be apprerciated. Email me direct. Thanks,
John
Don't laugh....but the Gemini 2400 DJ table has 78rpm (why is beyond me!) and for your purpose would fit the bill. I bought one for the same reason, transfering 78's. I'm using the Shure 78 rpm stylus in their 78 cartridge. Phono pre is the one in a McIntosh MX-113. Archive media is CD and mini-disc.The best internet price on the Gemini should be as low as $300, and for stylus, look at the Garage-A-Record web site for lots of options!
Lots of good reading in the Vinyl Asylum:http://www.audioasylum.com/audio/vinyl/messages/39988.html

I heard no parts on that one. But don't take my word for it, double-check it and see what's going on....
