We are putting together a good sounding pro audio system for concerts in 3000 seating audiotoriums. It would have to be a portable - we will be giving concerts in different places. We are looking for a liquid sounding system without breaking our bank acocunt. Can everyone give their version of a quality system, speakers, amps, mixing board, snake, etc?
We were considering EAW or upper JBL speakers - which ones will sound liquid ? or are there better ?
Thanks in advance...

If your looking for output and want portability then go with

Big bang for the buck
A ground stackable line array is the only true solution. Even if you have enough "output" or spl you will still loose 6dB every time you double the distance away from the speakers.
More Tom D. designsI have heard real good things about the SPL-td1's
Hang a few of them with a coule servro drive subs underneath
and your good to go
