Looking for opinions.. If I can only afford one jazz magazine subscription, which would it be? Only jazz I don't really like is shrieky atonal experimental stuff. Would like to have idea of best reissues, and jazz from around the world. Thanks folks.
Follow Ups:
I definitely like Jazz Times much better. Downbeat has become more "mainstream", or maybe I should say more "smoothjazzish" than it used to be. Jazz Times is also more comprehensive, more full of info, better reviews, etc. I would definitely recommend JT. I understand why people are suggesting All About Jazz. I do like having a magazine delivered once a month that I can pick up and read too, though.
It's a good web site for Jazz. Very informative with reviews and a forum too boot.

I found several great records based on reviews and recommendations there: Irene Schweizer, Pierre Favre, Joelle Leandre. Also, nice diverse recommendations from all around the world.

Buy 2-3 issues of each over a couple of months and decide which you like better.
Thanks for the decision-making suggestion, but I was looking for people's opinions, especially those who've read the magazines over a longer period than a few month.
