Been spending an inordinate amount of time in the car trekking from one shopping oasis to the next. Do I mind the traffic? Am I frazzled? Is stress frying my endocrine system? No - and all because of that wonderful invention - car audio!

Chris Connor/Maynard Ferguson (the Atlantic album just released on CD)

Souther Hillman Furay Band
Bobby Hackett
Rolling Stones
Madonna
Diana Krall
Duke Ellington
3 Dog Night
Miles Davis (pre-funk, pre-modal)

It's almost enough to make one enjoy shopping (actually, I do enjoy shopping, by pre-visualizing the "opening ceremonies") and tolerate all the frazzled drivers doing dumb things trying to get to the mall 12 seconds sooner.

  Mine still remains "Bah! Humbug!". It's nice folks like you keep the spirit alive. I do enjoy Christmas music, however, so maybe there's hope.
