The school my son attends is trying to get rid of a pair of Klipsch La Scala speakers for about $250. Is this a good deal and what does the information below mean? It was on the back of the speakers.WK K55V 168218

Finally tried them out today. Bass and midrange very nice. The tweeter may not be working properly, hardly any sound coming through. Is this normal? Cymbals sound muted for example.
whats the address and phone of the school?
don't waste your money. They are obviously looking for a chump.I will report them for you if you give me their name and phone number.

Are they in a white van in the rear parking lot?
Dear Consumer,
I feel it my duty as a tax paying US citizen to inform you of a recently enacted tax bill in regards to Klipsch La Scala speakers. A bill (No. 432-9972-8D) was intiated in the Senate and pased by both the House of Respresentatives and Senate to establish an excise tax on all Klipsch La Scala speakers. This tax is based on your net annual income of which will be added to the aforementioned line No.12 of Luxury Excise items. Depending on your income this will add between $127.98 and $625.11 to your annual tax debt. This being said I must also inform you that I am one of the few people who have received an exemption from this tax. I have documented Tinitus in both ears and exactly a 13.098% hearing loss in the left ear only. The above are the only qualifications for said exemption.I can only assume that this excessive Excise Tax will unfortunately prohibit you from owning a pair of Klipsch La Scala speakers. I therefore request that you please forward the following information ASAP to me via email:
Name of school
Phone number
Individual to contactDo not, repeat, do not post the above required info on this forum.
These even have the pro type 43 woofers. I've always liked the 43 over the K-33-E. The 33 has more bass, but the 43 has much better midbass punch. You will need a sub or something to cover below 80Hz. As long as they are in decent shape, $250 is a steal. I'd buy them if I were you. Even if you end up not liking them, which I can't imagine, you can flip them on Ebay for twice that.
How do you get that? The numbers listed are on the barrier strip, they're not driver part numbers.
