did you ever get to hear a karlson rocket? If so what were were your impressions ie. did the "rocket" help the low frequency / midbass response at all?FWIW, .. this is what a K-rocket looks like

gave my pair away - to CN and Poppe. IIRC Karlson's Rocket had somthing like a 4" CTS speaker with ~165Hz resonance and very little power handling. Reat chamber was vented.the way I'm assembling this note - will have to look later at your 2nd link. I would think increased power handling might happen in coupled cavity cases.
a good old asymmetric projector with tough speaker can make a lot of noise.
