He's polite in giving his advice to wash one's hands of the unit entirely. I took it as more tongue in cheek than a bona fide suggestion.Some of you guys really starch your underware a bit too stiffly.

The kid at the video store could get it out and have something to tinker with. No more worries about a machine that has caused unknown numbers of people headaches, including yours truly. No more shipping costs and nickle and dime nuts and bolts worries.
