Say, on Waltz for Debby, which channel is the paino, and which channel are the drums out of?Or on Kinda Blue, what is on the left channel-I got Bill Evans.
Reason I ask, I have checked everything in my setup, and cannot find why my channels are reversed. Every last thing, white to white, red to red; yet my channels do match my car stereo, which I assume has to be right (but could be wrong).
I want to make sure my channels are correct; left is left, right is right.
Follow Ups:
On Kind Of Blue, you are correct. Bill Evans should be arriving from your left speaker, Paul Chambers from the center (though he wanders a bit, depending on whose mike is also open at the time), Jimmy Cobb out of the right. Miles is dead center, Coltrane left (for the first side) and Adderley right (again for the first side, they switch positons for the last couple of tunes - the ones that would have been side 2 of the LP).I've used this record to make sure my system is set up properly for years. Plus, it's such great music, I end up listening to all of it, whether I wanted to or not.
It's funny thing I ike most about Kind of Blue is Evans. "It's all good", but if I had to pick the factor that moved it to really innovative, it would be the strange chordings of Bill.
I don't know, but it is a logical possibility
that tequila had an even more powerful effect on me than usual!
