Fred is the guy I purchased my 300SE from ... he does not have any of the headphone amps ... thanks for the post though
I would go over there and look first at tube headphone amps. There is a Wo audio that produces tube headphone amps in this price range that many people rave about. I can personally vouch for the headphone amps (Ear + HD1 and HD2 series) made by Mapletree Audio in Canada. I have one. These are also in this price range. Eddie Current and Single Power seem to be the acknowldeged leaders in the high price tube category of headphone amps, from $1000 up to the sky is the limit. I also have a Single Power MPX3 Slam SE. Woop-de-doo to me.
I was just over there yesterday poking around ... while I would really like the matching amp to my integrated, there are some great options ... thanks for your postJeff
I just got back from a couple of weeks in Japan myself: Amazing place to go shopping if you have the cash and the stamina! So much to see, and so beautifully presented. The website has a number of email addresses you can try: If you write in English, maybe try to keep your email as clear and concise as possible. Payment may be another matter: In Japan, cash is a more common form of payment than credit.
Oh, and I hope you noticed that the amp in question is 100 volts-only and that it costs 73,500 Yen: If you manage to find someone willing to ship it to you via EMS, you are looking at around $700, so you'd better really want this amp.
I tried a simple email but have (so far) recieved no response ... only been a couple of days though so maybe I will still receive something ... I am hesitant to call due to the possible language barrierthanks for your post

How do you like the sound of the 300SE? The prices look reasonable and the products well made. I'm interested in the 100SE .... Where did you get your 300 from?
I purchased the 300SE on a whim from eBay ... brand new from a US dealer with warranty ... very attractive piece with outstanding build quality ... nice included tube set, dead quiet thru 96db speakers ... definitely worth the $$$ ... if you have not read the Positive Feedback review, you should ... it is spot on. The 300SE will not appeal to everyone with its upfront nature, but that is the presentation I like so it is perfect for methanks for your post
