Anyone interested? I love to read and try to do so as much as
possible. I'm often torn between reading and listening to music
(I cant do both simultaneously and do justice to either). If you're interested, respond! Let's get it done!

We'll discuss the whole range of literature and non-fiction, from
Homer to George Pelecanos, from audio to zoology! It's about
reading, books, ideas, pleasure, and the joys of the language!

I was going to add that one too. Are there any others? I'll add them all at the same time.
man, I L-O-V-E this place!
and I'd use a "car" forum.(Is AA becoming the new usenet?)
For those audiophiles (like myself) that like making music in addition to listening to it. Anyway just a thought...Cheers,
people think that we don't have any other hobbies..we do..I also read a lot..now music and the internet takes more time though..Long ago I used to feel guilty if I did not read every night.that was when internet was not so widespread....lol..

Good idea. It was through the Asylum that I found out there was a book out there about Paul Wilber Klipsch. I'm sure we all have favorite audio related literature we'd enjoy talking about.
Absolutely. I think that's a great idea. It's certain to provoke and frame much more productive exchanges than, say, the unmentionable O*tside. And, personally, my reading habits have suffered alot over the last year, having moved to a 'new' city (actually my old quasi-hometown, sans college friends), because I don't really have anyone to talk about books with...'sides my significant other, and we need some outside inspiration.
If it's a matter of seconding a nomination or adding a voice to a vote, count me in most emphatically. I've enjoyed this community so much already I think it can only benefit from extension in such a vital direction. Can't agree with you too strongly. Great idea, Mike.
