DMR's are not noted for stellar RBCD playback..however, you will find the dvd-a's to sound quite good.
Follow Ups:
Do you have a 25? I'm willing to open the 15 up if you know what we need to look at to compare to see if they are the same. I can still go the 25 route thanks to Wallymart 90 day return policy...
A 20 and 25. Both sound good. The 25 sounds good on DVD-A to me, compared to the hard drive that they came from. The 20 has no DVD-A. CD is not "bad" but not refined.
I'll do some A-Bing against the older CP72, see what happens.
I don't use it (the DMR-ES15) much on RBCD any more, now that I got an audio-only player for that purpose. I still use that unit for the occasional DVD-A, however (I have only a 2-channel setup).
