I tried using this site, which purports to be the successor to Tony Taddeo's www.taddeo-loudspeaker.com site in selling his TDA II product (the old site is still on the Web). In using the online order format I got an error message form Verisign that the transaction was processed, but the order is voided due to problems contacting that site. I tried using their e-mail link and it only bounces back as an invalid address, too! This is worrisome to me in that I don't want to be charged for an order that cannot be processed and also that it stops me cold from attempting to place the order again for fear of being charged twice. The site says that Tony Taddeo has died. It also lists a Peter Yaman as the VP in charge of sales at some level. I can't find an address, but will try their toll phone number and see what happens.
Meantime, all this leaves me wondering if this is real with a glitch or bogus. Anybody have any direct insight on this???
Follow Ups:
I called the number listed on the Taddeodigital site and briefly spoke to Mr. Yaman. He was unaware that there were problems and handed me off to Christine. She informed me that the ordering problem would be taken care of and that she would call me back when it's done.Based on my conversation/s, it "appeared" to be a real bidness......
I was just informed by Mr. Yaman that the ordering process is now functional. To verify this, I went through he order process and completed my order. I also received an email confirmation almost immediately. Now...........we wait for delivery.
