I have a question about the Digital integrated amplifier market. I only know of Sharp's 5 year old digital integrated amp that cost $15,000. Have the prices come down? Here's what I am looking forAt least 3-4 digital inputs, and enough power to drive Polk Audio LSi 15 towers. I would also like analogue outs for the speakers so I can connect my amplified sub to the back (left and right) as well as my tower loudspeakers through a bannana plug.
Has there been any innovation in this area? I am not at all interested in surround.
Thanks

The new TDA 2200 from Tact Denmark fits the bill I believe. Is has an anolog out for subs. Addionally it has a fantastic software which allows you to use any xrossover between main speakers and subs. You can also adv time delay and there is a fantastic par. equalizer build in which will allow you to get rif of any bass peaks + allows you to adj tonal balance.

Michael
if you consider a wireless connection built into the receiver for playing music from your computer innovation. Check out the new JVC rx d301 and up.If they only built in the ability to receive internet streams into the receiver we'd be all set. Then for internet radio one could eliminate the need for a computer.
Not new, but there is the Bel Canto Evo 2i integrated amp. I think the retail is around $3k last I looked. No digital inputs though. I heard the original version a few years ago and thought it was good (if memory serves).http://www.belcantodesign.com/prod_evo2i.html
