All these cardas are litz. I don't know the other brand. But Cardas iswarm and detailed and i don't like it as well as AN-Lexus or AN-V.

Thank you very much for your suggestion.
I should have add that clearly I am not looking for a high-end performance.
I have to "engross" the mid-range of my old Pioneer DVD-717.
As I am using it in a stereo system also for watching movies and I am finding dialogs a little thin and under the level of the soundtrack and effects.
And I already know that the 300B is famous to do this.
I wonder if the Crosslink has the same effect of giving body (maybe colouring ?) to voices.
I would accept some less detail.
To end, I think that a perfectly neutral cable, as I think AN cables are, could give a too lean sound.
Thank you very much again.
Kind regards,beppe
AN Lexus is not neutral and even the AN-V has a touch of warmth. The Cardas' are warm and pretty detailed. More Neutral, but still quite detailed Kimber Hero.I buy these cables when i am in the US (or Asia) and bring them back to the EU, so they are a lot cheaper: AN lexus and Kimber Hero are/were about $160 each. AN-V is/was about $340.
It might pay you to look at prices in eastern Europe. I was astounded how low prices in Poland were, last summer, for audio equipment compared to the rest of the EU. It is not too far from Denmark.
I have never checked out audio gear in Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary or the Czech Republic, which are all a little closer to you.
Here in Italy prices of audio equipment are pretty high.
As a matter of fact a lot of my friend buy in Germany, UK and even directly in USA.
As I said I have a need for an IC that gives body to voices, even if not really neutral. A sort of tone control.
I notice that with digital too much detail is often fatiguing.
Thank you very much for your kind and valuable advice.
Kind regards,beppe
I am quite impressed by the performance of their lower priced OFC cables. They do give that feeling of body - fullness. This is true, even for their silver cables, when silver cables made by many other mfrs. sound very thin, sharp and airy.
Thank you very much for your kind suggestion.
I will look for them.
By the way do you have any experience with Harmonic Technology ICs, like the Precision-Link for instance ?
I read positive reviews describing their natural tone.
