Topic Display/Timeline Problems

I'm using the Chrome browser. Just recently, a problem developed. Topics that show up on the home page timeline don't appear inside the dedicated forum pages.
Also, the topics that are displayed in the forum pages show zero replies.
I've tried all of the usual remedies -- reloading, cache purges, log off/log on, deletion of cookies in the browser -- nothing's worked.
