Thoughts on Dunlavy SC-IVa?

Posted by audio39 on September 25, 2013 at 17:01:59:

I'm seriously considering a pair of the Dunlavy SC-IVa speakers. My room is 14'x25'x8'...would that seem okay according to those that have heard these big speakers.

My listening position is a full 11' from the front of my present speakers, and according to everything I've read that distance was recommended by the late Mr. Dunlavy.

I listen to alot of classic rock and blues...that's what caused me to think of these big guys, but I haven't heard a pair of these play since 2002.

Your thoughts please!
