I've heard them being compared too....

with the same Ayre reference equipment. The Sapphire was much better than the Harbeth and the C-4 was much better than the Sapphire.

BTW, all these auditions were done through the dealership of which I've known the owner for over 20 years. He's the dealer for Parasound, Bryston, Ayre, Brinkmann, Dynaudio, Harbeth, Aesthetix, to named but a few.

I'm quite lucky in a way that I have an excellent relationship with all of our local high end dealerships. Although, I haven't bought anything from them for a long time this didn't stop them from letting me know if they have new equipment come in.
