In a good amp the 45 sounds wonderful
much ,MUCH better than a JJ2a3 and i have also the 2a3 and 45 from EML solid and mesh
the JJ 2a3 is not the best sounding tube.
But you can only hear that is a well build amplifier
no paralel capacitors you waist your time with that believe me.
